Trailmix is an award-winning studio based in the heart of London, backed by mobile giants Supercell. About the role
As a Graduate Data Analyst your primary responsibility will be to analyse behavioral game data that we collect. The purpose of this is to understand how players play the game, where they might get stuck, and if the company is on track to hit our KPIs. This is a great opportunity for any aspiring data analyst who is keen to have a direct impact on a live product. We will support you in your development and growth as you take your existing skills and knowledge to the next level.
Responsibilities and scope
- Proactivity engage in your own learning and growth in the role. Ask questions to understand how the company works, and how a data analyst can support the company's success.
- Work with the team to understand the scope of data requests and figure out how we can best respond to them.
- Design and create dashboards using tools such as Google Sheets, Mode and Google Data Studio.
- Investigate and QA our game telemetry to ensure the integrity of the underlying data
- Ensure the accuracy of our existing data sets by running sense checks and reconciliation.
Requirements
- Highly driven to learn the new skills required to thrive in the role
- An analytical thought process with an aptitude for problem solving
- Beginner level skills in a programming language e.g. python, R, javascript, C++ etc
- Demonstrate an interest in learning SQL. Existing knowledge would be advantageous.
- A passion for games is an advantage
- Great communication skills
Location
Trailmix is currently operating under a hybrid work model - we have 3 days a week (Monday, Thursday & Friday) in person at our brand new studio in Kings Cross with the remaining 2 days available to work from home.
