Trailmix is an award-winning studio based in the heart of London, backed by mobile giants Supercell. Please note - This is not an entry level role and we will be looking for mid level experience within mobile gaming or a similar industry. Also, unfortunately at this time we are not able to provide any working visa for this position so you will need to be already living and have the rights to work in the UK within a reasonable distance from our London office based near Kings Cross.

About the role
This role will report to our QA Lead, and collaborate very closely with the Development team. We’re seeking a QA Tester to join our ranks and help us deliver quality updates for Love & Pies. You will join a small in-house test team, hence you will have a big impact on what our players enjoy and experience. The ideal candidate will already have a few years of hands-on experience testing mobile games, with a sharp eye for detail and fully devoted to quality and player experience.
This role suits an individual who has the desire to not only progress their career within mobile games, but also play a key part in achieving Trailmix’s mission: to foster a culture of trust, respect and creativity which allows us to make beautiful long-lasting games that can be played by everyone. Responsibilities
- Most importantly - ensure that our games are of the highest quality
- Write and execute comprehensive test cases that could target all areas of game development - design, client, server, tools, etc
- Iterate and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes
- Stay up to date with new testing tools and methodologies
- Advocate for our players at every stage of development
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in testing mobile games
- Good knowledge of iOS and Android ecosystems, experience in testing games for both platforms
- Experienced and comfortable working in multi-role production teams
- Good understanding and love towards F2P games and game design
- Reliable team player who is able to work independently and take responsibility
- Ability to multitask and keep calm under pressure
- Great communication skills
Location
Trailmix is currently operating under a hybrid work model - we have 3 days a week (Monday, Thursday & Friday) in person at our brand new studio in Kings Cross with the remaining 2 days available to work from home.
